Lorna Wins Humanitarian Award

Lorna, who has been working at Employment Horizons for over eleven years, has performed a variety of jobs ranging from cleaning wires and peripherals to packaging cloth pouches. Her counselor and supervisor determined that she deserved some recognition.

At the 2015 Holiday Party, Lorna was awarded the Mary Jones Humanitarian Award. This award is given to a person who displays kindness, caring, gentleness, and compassion toward others. Lorna was nominated because she is known for listening to her co-workers and encouraging them to be their best, remain focused and get through the day. Lorna’s hobby is sewing, and she loves working at Employment Horizons.
